Zipcar starts service in US city Columbus

Company’s car-sharing service in Columbus builds on its success at the Ohio University and John Glen Columbus Airport

Zipcar has launched its car-sharing service in Columbus, Ohio (United States), the company said in a press release last week. The company started its round-trip car-sharing service with eight vehicles, which are available in on-street parking spots Downtown, Short North, German Village and Weinland Park. These vehicles are parked is designated spots for convenient pick-up and drop-off and are available for reservation by hour or by day. Zipcar members can seamlessly book these vehicles using Zipcar’s mobile app. Each reservation includes gas, insurance and 180 miles of driving per day.
