May Mobility partners with Bedrock for commercial deployment of autonomous vehicles in Detroit

Start-up is partnering with developers, urban planners and municipalities to understand their mobility needs and design solutions

Last week, May Mobility, a Ann Arbor-based start-up developing self-driving vehicles, partnered with real estate firm Bedrock for commercial deployment of autonomous vehicles on public roads in downtown Detroit, Michigan (United States), the company said in press release. Under the partnership, May Mobility has provided a fleet of self-driving electric shuttles to Bedrock for transporting passengers. There shuttles are deployed to transport about 18,000 employees of Quicken Loans and its Family of Companies between their offices, parking sites, events and other downtown destinations.
