Volkswagen (VW) equips new Touareg SUV with head-up display

New SUV features the largest head-up display offered by VW in its vehicles

Volkswagen (VW) has equipped its new Touareg SUV with head-up display (HUD) that projects key driving information into the driver’s selective field of vision, the German automaker said in a press release last week. The HUD reflects key vehicle data such as current speed, maximum permitted speed, and visual information from the navigation onto the vehicle’s windscreen, but gives the feel that they are thrown into the space immediately in front of the SUV.
