BMW to recall vehicles in China to fix fuel tank defect

Recall affects BMW 1 Series models produced between 9 to 17 June 2017

BMW Brilliance Automobile, a joint venture (JV) between BMW and Brilliance Auto Group, will recall 148 vehicles in China over fire risks due to defective fuel tanks, Xinhua News Agency reported on 1 July, citing the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection, and Quarantine (AQSIQ).
