VW appoints Stefan Sommer as procurement chief
Appointment to become effective from 1 January
The Volkswagen (VW) Group has appointed Dr. Stefan Sommer as member of its board of management, with responsibility for procurement, the German automaker said in a press release on 9 July. Sommer’s appointment will become effective from 1 January 2019. He will replace Dr. Francisco Javier Garcia Sanz, who left VW in April this year.
