Honeywell has launched a new inertial navigation unit that provides accurate navigation for various applications, including autonomous vehicles, the company said in a press release on 10 July. The new unit called “HGuide n580” is the first navigation solution that uses both precision inertial measurement unit technology and Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS) to improve location accuracy.
