Google launches Android Auto in Hyundai, Kia vehicles in South Korea
Korean version of Android Auto uses Kakao navigation map
Google has launched its in-car infotainment application (app) Android Auto in South Korea in partnership with in Hyundai-Kia and Kakao Mobility, BusinessKorea reported on 12 July. The app enables pairing of a smartphone with a vehicle’s dashboard, allowing drivers seamless access to key smartphone features such as calling, messaging, and navigation. The Korean version of Android Auto is also powered by the voice-activated Google Assistant, allowing drivers to access the features via voice commands.
