McLaren expects all models to be hybrids by 2025

Company’s new cars to have autonomous driving features, enhanced cybersecurity, improved vehicle tracking and OTA software updates

At the Goodwood Festival of Speed event in the United Kingdom last week, McLaren Automotive announced plans to launch 18 new models and derivatives by 2025, Autocar reported on 12 July . The new models will include a successor to the McLaren P1 supercar, recently unveiled Senna, and three-seater BP23, which is scheduled to be unveiled later this year. By 2025, McLaren expects all its all mainstream production models to feature hybrid powertrain. However, some of the company’s limited-production supercars might still run purely on internal combustion engine (ICE).
