Changan, Huawei to collaborate on development of intelligent vehicles
Two partners will establish an innovation center as a platform to develop ‘internet of vehicles’
Chinese automaker Changan Automobile has entered a strategic cooperation agreement with Huawei Technologies to establish an innovation center as a platform for developing internet of vehicles (IOV), China Daily reported earlier this month. The partnership will leverage Huawei’s expertise in information and communication technology (ICT) and new energy control systems and conduct research on advanced technical application scenarios and carriers provided by Changan.
