Continental announces organizational realignment; to make Powertrain division independent entity
German supplier plans to create a holding structure under Continental Group supported by three business sectors of Continental Automotive, Continental Rubber and Powertrain
Continental has announced a major organizational realignment of its diverse business to position itself for long-term growth, according to the company’s press release on 18 July. As part of the reorganization, the Germany-based automotive supplier will create a holding structure of ‘Continental AG’ under ‘Continental Group’ umbrella brand. The new holding structure will be supported by three business sectors: ‘Continental Automotive’, ‘Continental Rubber’, and ‘Powertrain’.
