Mercedes-Benz, KT deliver EV chargers in South Korea
Two companies formed partnership to develop EV charger for Korean market last year
Mercedes-Benz has launched electric vehicle (EV) chargers at its showrooms and service centers in South Korea, The Korea Herald reported today (19 July). The chargers are designed for the German carmaker’s EQ brand of EVs. However, it can also be used to charge other EVs with a single phase 5-pin socket. The German carmaker developed the new EV charger in collaboration with the local telecommunication company KT.
