Autonomous truck start-up Embark raises USD30 million in new funding
Company will use the fund to expand self-driving truck fleet
US-based autonomous truck start-up Embark Trucks has raised USD30 million in Series-B funding round, TechCrunch reported on 20 July. The latest funding round was led by Sequoia Capital and participated by existing investors such as Data Collective, YCombinator, SV Angel and AME Cloud. Pat Grady, a partner at Sequoia, has joined Embark’s board. With the latest funding round, Embark has raised a total of USD47 million so far.
