SiriusXM’s Q2 net income up 38.6% y/y to USD284 million
Company raises full-year financial guidance
SiriusXM has reported 38.6% year-over-year (y/y) increase in net income to USD284.1 million for the second quarter ended 30 June 2018, the US-based radio service provider said in a press release on 25 July. The company’s revenue increased 6.3% y/y to USD1.4 billion, but operating income declined 13.1% y/y to USD361.6 million amid sharp increase in revenue share and royalties. SirusXM reported 4% y/y growth in adjusted EBITDA to USD543 million. The company’s operating cash flow improved 20% y/y to USD579 million and free cash flow increased 17% y/y to USD486 million.
