Magneti Marelli to acquire perception software specialist SmartMeUp
Acquisition strengthens Italian supplier’s capability in the emerging field of autonomous driving
Magneti Marelli has entered an agreement to acquire SmartMeUp, a French company specializing in perception software for autonomous driving and smart cities, the company said in a press release on 2 August. Magneti Marelli expects to close the acquisition in the fourth quarter of 2018.
