BASF develops new foam for thin and light instrument panels
New foam can allow foam weight reduction of up to 30%
Germany-based chemicals company BASF has developed an innovative polyurethane (PU) foam that allows significant weight reduction in automotive interior components such as instrument panels, according to a company press release on 1 August.
