Hyundai to supply 1,200 Ioniq Hybrids to taxi operator in Singapore

The Ioniq Hybrid will be the first alternative-powertrain vehicle to be exported by the Korean automaker to Singapore

Hyundai has won a contract to supply up to 1,200 Ioniq Hybrid cars to ComfortDelGro, a Singapore-based taxi operator, The Korea Herald reported on 27 July. The Korean automaker aims to deliver these vehicles by mid-2019. According to The Straight Times, ComfortDelGro started receiving the first batch of 200 Ioniq Hybrids in May this year.
