Grab gets conditional approval for Uber deal in the Philippines
Company raises USD2 billion in latest financing round
On 10 August, The Philippines Competition Commission (PCC) gave a conditional approval for Grab’s planned takeover of Uber’s operations in Southeast Asia, reports Reuters. However, the anti-trust regulator expected that the ride-hailing service provider will adhere to certain rules designed to keep the market fair for consumers.
