Japanese automaker aims to offer Honda Sensing as standard features on all vehicles in the United States by 2022 model year

Honda has launched model year 2019 Civic sedan and coupe with ‘Honda Sensing’ suite of safety and driver-assist technologies in the United States, the company said in a press release on 13 August. According to the Japanese automaker, all trims of the 2019 Civic sedan and coupe, from LX to Touring feature Honda Sensing as standard feature. The company’s Honda Sensing suite of safety and driver-assist technologies in both body styles of the Civic includes collision mitigation braking system (CMBS) with forward collision warning, road departure mitigation (RDM) with lane departure warning (LDW), lane keeping assist system (LKAS) and adaptive cruise control (ACC).
