Renesas instrument cluster MCU adopts Micronix Read-While- Write flash
Japanese supplier has implemented a dedicated octa-peripheral interface on its MUC to support Macronix memory devices with Serial Multi I/O
Renesas has selected Micronix International’s MX25LW5124G Read-While-Write (RWW) Flash for its RH850/D1M1A automotive instrument cluster microcontroller (MCU) for over-the-air (OTA) update, Taiwan-based Micronix said in a press release last week. The Japanese automotive electronics supplier has implemented a dedicated octa- peripheral interface on its MUC to support Macronix memory devices with Serial Multi I/O, including the RWW Flash memory.
