Hyundai Mobis invests in Korean AI sensor start-up to develop deep learning cameras
Korean automotive supplier aims to develop a deep learning-based camera by 2020
Hyundai Mobis has invested KRW8 billion (USD7.2 million) to pick an equity stake in StradVision, a start-up that develops deep learning-based camera image detection technology, the leading automotive supplier from South Korea said in a press release on 22 August. Hyundai Mobis plans to collaborate with StradVision on developing advanced camera detection technology required for building safe self-driving systems.
