Qualcomm, Datang Telecom demonstrate multichip vendor C-V2X direct communication interoperability
Successful demonstration of LTE-V2X reflects the commercial readiness for automaker and infrastructure deployments beginning in 2019
Qualcomm and Datang Telecom Group have successfully demonstrated multi-chipset vendor cellular vehicle to everything (C-V2X) direct communication interoperability, the US-based chipmaker said in a press release on 22 August. The demonstration was carried out at Qualcomm Wireless Communication Technologies’ laboratory in Beijing (China) and used the Qualcomm 9150 C-V2X chipset and Datang’s LTE-V2X module, the DMD31.
