Didi Chuxing unveils new pilots for testing 'driver voice assistant' projects
Chinese mobility company aims to deliver enhanced ride experience in its vehicles
At Didi Tech Day in Beijing, China early this month, Didi Chuxing launched a driver voice assistant project, the company said in a press release. The driver voice assistant, which is voice activated via an in-vehicle smart device, is designed to offer a full range of services, ranging from audio and video content search, information inquiry and adjustment of temperature to communication with passengers and customer services as well as refuel, recharging and repair service. The company also show augmented reality (AR) navigation service, which help its passengers to navigate through large buildings to reach a vehicle pick-up location.
