CATL plans to start construction of battery cell plant in Germany next year
Cell production at the plant is expected to start by 2022
Chinese battery maker Contemporary Amperex Technology (CATL) is planning to start construction of its new battery cell plant in in Erfurt, Thuringia (Germany) next year, n-tv.de reported on 26 August citing CATL’s European head, Matthias Zentgraf.
