Renault Samsung receives permit to test autonomous car in South Korea

South Korean unit of Renault is developing traffic jam assist with plans to launch in its vehicles by 2020

Renault Samsung Motor has received a temporary approval from South Korea’s Transportation Ministry to test its self-driving cars on public roads, the Yonhap News Agency reported today (30 August). The approval allows the South Korean unit of French automaker Renault to test its autonomous cars on designated expressways and at test sites.
