Cox Automotive acquires Clutch Technologies, sets up Mobility Solution Group
The acquisition further strengthens Cox Automotive capability as software platform company for emerging vehicle subscription service
Cox Automotive has acquired Clutch Technologies, a US-based firm specializing in vehicle subscription software, the company said in a press release earlier this month. Clutch’s software platform is powering vehicle subscription service of BMW, Mercedes-Benz and Porsche in the United States. The company offers its subscription service technology to vehicle suppliers, including both automakers and dealers, in 26 states across the United States.
