Although the battery swapping model looks more relevant now than ever before, it will still require strong collaboration among OEMs, battery suppliers and energy companies to become a feasible alternative to plug-in charging
Battery-swapping technology seems to be making a comeback as an alternative to electric vehicle (EV) charging through cables or wirelessly. The technology allows drivers to exchange their EV’s exhausted battery with a recharged one at a battery swapping station in a few minutes.
