BMW to recall more than 139,000 3-series vehicles in China

Recall covers 89,309 vehicles manufactured in China between May 2005 and July 2011, and 50,143 imported vehicles produced between January 2005 and July 2011

German automaker BMW will recall more than 139,000 units of its 3-series cars in China, starting 9 November over a potential defect in the air-conditioning system, Xinhua News Agency reported on 16 September citing the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection, and Quarantine (AQSIQ).
