Nissan offering new 1.5L diesel engine in Qashqai in Europe
Engine offers 5 PS more energy than the previous engine
Nissan has equipped its Qashqai sport-utility vehicle (SUV) in Europe with a new upgraded 1.5L diesel engine, reports news website Green Car Congress. The new engine produces 115 PS power and 260 Nm torque. While the power output has increased by 5 PS compared to previous generation diesel engine in Qashqai, torque remains the same. The engine also comes with a new overboost function which delivers an extra 5 PS of power and 25 Nm of torque for up to 15 seconds of driving.
