German automaker claims to have doubled the storage capacity of its high-voltage batteries since the launch of its i3 electric car five years ago

BMW has further increased capacity of its lithium ion batteries that powers its i3 all-electric car, resulting in a significant increase in its range, the German automaker said in a press release on 28 September.
