Karamba Security unveils ThreatHive automotive cybersecurity solution
New solution detects cyberattacks during development phase
Karamba Security has introduced a new cybersecurity solution, called ThreatHive, which provides automakers and tier-1 suppliers with a view of actual, online attack on their electronic control unit (ECU) during development, the Israel-based company said in a press release on 2 October. According to Karamba, the new solution implements a set of hosted automotive ECUs in a car-like environment and automatically monitors these ECU software images to expose attack patterns, tools, the vulnerability in the ECU’s operating systems and code. The detection of real attack on the ECU during the development lifecycle provides automakers and tier-1 suppliers with actionable insights into security vulnerability.
