BorgWarner has opened a new manufacturing plant in the Caidian Economic Development Zone in Wuhan, China, to produce drive motors, P2 motors, Belt Alternator Starter Systems, starters, alternators and related components for hybrids and electric vehicles (EVs), the company announced in a press release on 8 October.
