UK excludes plug-in hybrid cars from new EV subsidy program
Government reduces grant from GBP4,500 to GBP3,500
The UK government has updated its Plug-in Car Grant (PICG) program rendering plug-in hybrid cars ineligible for subsidy, according to a press release from the Department of Transport and Office for Low Emission Vehicles on 11 October.
