In affected vehicles, error in airbag ECU may not let airbag deploy in case of crash

Toyota is recalling 188,000 vehicles globally to fix defective airbags, Associated Press (AP) reported on 12 October. The recalls cover 185,000 cars, pickups and SUVs in North America and 2,600 vehicles in other markets. The affected vehicles include 2018 and 2019 Tundra pickups and Sequoia SUVs as well as 2019 Avalon sedans.
