Continental opens in new hose plants in China
New plant produces advanced hose products and mobile fuel system solutions for both ICE-powered vehicles and NEVs
Continental has officially opened a new hose plant in Qingdao, in China’s Shandong Province, the Germany-based automotive supplier said in a press release on 18 October. The company invested CNY240 million (USD34.6 million) in the new plant, which is spread over an area of 84,000 square meter in the Qingdao Sino-German Ecopark. The plant produces advanced hose products and mobile fuel system solutions for passenger cars and commercial vehicles.
