Virginia Tech and OnBoard Security will recommend ways to develop more resilient charging system and create new software and charging architecture

The United States Department of Energy (DOE) has awarded Virginia Tech a grant of USD3 million for research on electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure cybersecurity, according to a press release by Virginia Tech. The grant is a part of USD80 million investment by the DOE on advanced technology research.
