Alliance Ventures invests in Chinese self-driving start-up WeRide.ai
WeRide.ai plans to use the proceeds from the latest financing round to deploy a fleet of 500 autonomous vehicles next year
Alliance Ventures, the corporate venture capital fund of Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi, has become the lead investor in China-based self-driving firm WeRide.ai following the completion of the Series A financing round at the Chinese start-up, the alliance said in a press release on 11 October.
