Hyundai Mobis opens new innovation center in US
New center will explore and invest in potential start-ups working in area such as artificial intelligence, connectivity and autonomous driving
Hyundai Mobis has opened its first innovation center in Silicon Valley, California (United States), the South Korean automotive supplier said in a press release on 5 November. The new center, called “M.Cube”, will explore and invest in potential start-ups working in areas such as artificial intelligence, connectivity and autonomous driving. The Korean supplier aims to invest in as many as 10 or more global start-ups by next year. The company has appointed Sean Ryu, who has more 20 years of experience in start-up investment in Silicon Valley, to lead and expand the innovation center.
