Telenav partners with Yelp to offer enhanced connected car experience
Yelp feature will allow Telnav SGL users locate highly rated local businesses from their in-car entertainment system
Telenav has partnered with Yelp, a crowd-sourced business review and rating forum, to enhance connected car experience, the company said in a press release on 5 October. The partnership will allow Telenav to offer Yelp reviews and ratings on its Scout GPS Link (SGL) smartphone app for United States and Canada. The new feature is expected to help SGL users locate highly rated local businesses, such as boutiques, mechanics, dentists and restaurants, from their in-car entertainment system when connected to SGL.
