Alpine Electronics, NNG’s subsidiary collaborate on secure infotainment system development

Alpine Electronics has teamed up with Arilou Information Security Technologies, a part of NNG Group, for development of secure vehicle infotainment system, NNG said in a press release on 12 November. Under the collaboration, the two companies are working on a concept of an infotainment system which secured the vehicle’s CAN (controlled area network) bus against malicious hacking. The concept will have Arilou’s cybersecurity technology parallel intrusion prevention system (PIPS) incorporated into new line of infotainment systems from Alpine Electronics.
