Partnership to allow the two South Korean automakers to utilize Vodafone’s telecommunication network to offer in-vehicle infotainment services in their new vehicles beginning next year

Hyundai and Kia have partnered with Vodafone to provide connected car services to their European customers starting next year, Hyundai said in a press release on 13 November. The strategic partnership will allow the two South Korean automakers to utilize Vodafone’s telecommunication network to offer in-vehicle infotainment services such as up-to-date traffic information, parking and locations services, vehicle diagnostics and voice controls. Hyundai and Kia will launch new infotainment system on select models in Europe from 2019.
