u-blox team up with ERM to launch vehicle tracking device with built-in Wi-Fi hotspot
ERM’s device integrates advanced vehicle tracking, driver behavior monitoring, theft prevention, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and 4G capabilities in a single device
u-blox has collaborated with ERM Advanced Telematics to launch an advanced vehicle tracking device with built-in Wi-Fi, the company said in a press release on 8 November. ERM’s StarLink Tracker with Wi-Fi features u-blox’s GNSS (global navigation satellite system), 4G and Wi Fi Technology eliminating the need to equip vehicles with a separate mobile Wi Fi hotspot. ERM’s vehicle tracking device can be uses in connected car, telematics, fleet management, vehicle security and diagnostics, usage-based insurance and rental and leasing services.
