Subaru introduces Crosstrek Hybrid plug-in hybrid in US
Japanese automaker’s first PHEV will go on sale in the United States by the end of this year
Subaru has introduced all-new Crosstrek Hybrid, its first plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV), in the United States, the Japanese automaker said in a press release on 20 November. The Crosstrek Hybrid SUV features Subaru’s new StarDrive technology that integrates electric motors, a 2 L direct-injection Subaru Boxer engine, Subaru Symmetrical all-wheel drive and a new Lineartronic continuously variable transmission.
