Global sales of vehicles equipped with Toyota Safety Sense crosses 10 million
Japanese automaker aims to equip Toyota and Lexus vehicles with the safety technology in 100 countries by 2020
Global sales of vehicles equipped with Toyota Safety Sense (TSS) active safety package has crossed 10 million units mark, Toyota announced in a press release on 26 November. The figure includes sale of Lexus brand vehicles featuring Lexus Safety System package. The Japanese automaker achieved this milestone in around three and a half years after it started equipping its vehicles with Toyota Safety System/Lexus Safety System packages.
