The latest funding by the UK government to the four consortia will further strengthen development network for CAV technologies in UK

The UK government has awarded a total of GBP18 million (USD23.1 million) to four consortia to deliver self-driving testing and development facilities in the country, according to a press release by Meridian Mobility on 22 November. The four new projects, which are part of the Center for Connected and Autonomous Vehicles (CCAV), include Connected Vehicle data exchange (ConVEx), Highway Intersection, Rural and Highways and Self-parking cars.
