ThorDrive’s autonomous commercial delivery services rely on Velodyne’s lidar technology
South Korean autonomous vehicle technology start-up has been using Velodyne lidar sensors for past eight years
South Korea-based autonomous driving technology start-up ThorDrive is gearing up to introduce commercial delivery services using autonomous vehicles in Palo Alto area in California (United States). The autonomous vehicles used in the pilot services will come equipped lidar sensors from Velodyne, the US-based lidar supplier said in a press release on 28 November.
