A German consortium, which includes thyssenkrupp System Engineering GmbH, IAV GmbH, Daimler AG and the Fraunhofer Institute for Ceramic Technologies and Systems IKTS, is developing bipolar batteries for long-range electric vehicles (EV), Fraunhofer Institute announced in a press release on 26 November.
