Wipro launches automotive innovation center in US
The new center strengthens Wipro’s presence in Detroit where it opened an Automotive Engineering Center last year
Wipro has opened an ‘Automotive Innovation Center’ in Detroit, Michigan (United States), the India-based information technology (IT) firm said in a press release on 11 December. The new center will develop next-generation technologies and solutions for automaker and tier-1 suppliers, leveraging its expertise in artificial intelligence (AI), analytics, industrial internet of things (IOT), cloud computing and crowd sourcing. It will mainly work on developing connected vehicle technologies with key focus on human-machine interface (HMI), on-board sensor data management, big data insights and mobile apps for delivering personalized driving or mobility experience.
