Luminar teams up with Audi’s Autonomous Intelligent Driving for long-range lidar technology
Luminar was first partner AID tapped last year to accelerate its first fully autonomous deployments in 2021
US-based lidar start-up Luminar has partnered with Audi’s subsidiary Autonomous Intelligent Driving (AID) to supply forward-facing, long-range lidar technology and accelerate AID’s plans for fully autonomous deployment in 2021, the company announced in a press release on 18 December.
