Hella’s H1 sales up 2.8% y/y to USD4 billion
Hella continues to anticipate positive business development for the rest of FY2018/19 despite challenging marketing conditions
Hella has reported 2.8% year-over-year (y/y) increase in sales to EUR3.6 billion (USD4.04 billion) in the first half ended 30 November 2018, the Germany-based automotive lighting and electronics supplier said in a press release on 11 January. Sales, excluding foreign exchange fluctuations and portfolio adjustments, grew by 7.3% y/y. Hella’s adjusted EBIT improved by 5.5% y/y to EUR302 million, resulting in adjusted EBIT margin of 8.6% compared to 8.7% a year earlier.
