BMW equips new 7-Series with next generation plug-in hybrid powertrain
Vehicle gets all-electric range between 50 and 58 kilometres (31 and 36 miles)
BMW has unveiled the model year 2019 7-Series with next generation plug-in hybrid powertrain. According to a press release by the automaker on 16 January, the vehicle is powered by a specially adapted 6-cylinder in-line petrol engine and an upgraded high-voltage battery.
